Siyazigabisa  (means that we are proud of who we are) Home Of Hope in Thembisa 


Siyazigabisa is founded and run by Gabisile Khoza in an effort to establish a shelter for victims of violence and abuse.

Siyazigabisa Home of Hope is a shelter to orphans, runaways and battered women. 

Single handedly, Khoza opened up her home and educated herself as a counsellor in order to provide light and hope to individuals and families in the community.

She has counselled and empowered all those who feel shattered by tribulations and adversaries. 

Siyazigabisa Home of Hope is a mother body to many rising organisations within the community

The Sbusiso Leope Education Foundation popularly known as SLEF is a 19 year old Award Winning South African Non-Profit Organization led by Ekurhuleni born South African Social Entrepreneur & Entertainer Sbu Leope. 


The brand, DJ Sbu has played a valuable role in shaping youth culture in South Africa. 

Despite his tough upbringing in Tembisa, he has overcome obstacles on his journey and made a name for himself using his media talents. Sbu decided at the beginning of his career to create time and dedicate hundreds of thousands of hours towards sharing inspiration and knowledge with schools and youth across the country.


SLEF to date has awarded hundreds of students bursaries and has activated at a thousand schools is the Gauteng Region.

As part of the initiative SLEF raises funds and educational awareness through one of its projects namely the SLEF Benefit Concert. 

The impact and reach of Mr Leope’s philanthropy work has deemed him as a beacon of hope to the youth of South Africa. 

SLEF speaks to helping and empowering the youth through education. 



In December 2021 DJ Sbu & team will create an experience around a 10 day radio show designed to raise funds for the less fortunate. As an annual activity DJ Sbu believes that its important to encourage radio enthusiasts and professionals that work in radio can and should always have purpose. The longest radio show is a multi platform ndongem1 multi media experience with a plethora of high profile guests who participate to contribute to the efforts



Throughout 2021 SLEF will organise events in Thembisa (COVID Dependent) and online for lovers of music and live entertainment in the name of charity. The events will feature live music acts and DJ’s from Thembisa and 100% of funds raised from the gate takings to the sales of products, and donations from attendees will go towards the given beneficiary. Wether it’s live or streaming SLEF and its associates will pull together to encourage participation from the wider community / fan base.
